Dophi™ N3000 Electroporation System is glad to support Prof Olivier Seror and his team’s minimally invasive surgery at Avicenne Hospital in Paris.
The patient is a 69 years old male, with a difficult cirrhotic tumor located near hepatic bile. Six IRE electrodes were placed around the tumor.
For refractory tumors of the liver, Irreversible electroporation (IRE) technology has the capability of preserving vital structures within the IRE-ablated zone. In all IRE-ablated liver tissues, critical structures, such as the hepatic arteries, hepatic veins, portal veins, and intrahepatic bile ducts are able to be preserved.
